Day 1 & 2: Arrival and Journey to Kapchorwa

Welcome to Uganda and enjoy a scenic drive to the highlands.

Arrive at Entebbe International Airport, meet your group and guides, and embark on a scenic drive through Uganda’s beautiful countryside to Kapchorwa — the heart of Uganda’s running excellence. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner and trip briefing.

Days 3–5: Highland Training & Cultural Immersion

Professional Coaching in Champion Territory

Morning training sessions with elite coaches, followed by afternoon cultural activities including visits to local schools, traditional dancing, and coffee plantation tours. Experience the daily life of Ugandan runners and learn about their training philosophy.

Days 6–7: Marathon Preparation and Race Day

The Main Event — Elgon Half Marathon

Final preparations and registration for the Elgon Half Marathon. On race day, compete alongside local athletes in this prestigious event founded by Joshua Cheptegei. Enjoy post-race celebrations and recovery sessions.

Days 8–9: Karamoja Cultural Experience

Deep Dive into Traditional Ugandan Culture

Travel to the Karamoja region for an authentic cultural immersion. Explore traditional villages, observe ancient customs, take part in local ceremonies, and gain a deeper understanding of Uganda’s rich and diverse heritage.

Days 10–12: Kidepo Valley Safari

Wildlife adventure in Uganda’s remote wilderness

Game drives in one of Africa’s most pristine national parks, where you can spot lions, elephants, giraffes, and countless other species. Enjoy night drives, bush walks, and cultural visits to local Karamojong communities.

Day 13: Return to Entebbe

Journey home with unforgettable memories

Morning game drive, followed by the journey back to Entebbe. Enjoy a final group dinner to share experiences and exchange contacts. Transfer to the airport for international departures or extend your stay in Uganda.
