Your Stay at Alakara

Nestled within Okra Farm in Kobulin village, Alakara Guest House is a serene retreat that celebrates the landscape and culture of Karamoja. The guest house features five traditional huts, built with locally sourced materials and traditional techniques. While huts are not self-contained, a shared ablution block with toilets and showers ensures comfort.

Surrounded by a flourishing garden, with fruit trees, flowers, and original trees dotting the landscape, guests can enjoy fresh air, vibrant colors, and the occasional visit from farm animals like goats, cows, and chickens. The large grass-thatched lounge area invites you to relax in a hammock and soak in the calm of the countryside.
