Ingeborg first travelled to Uganda in 1999 and has considered it her second home ever since. Alongside her husband William, she co-founded Alakara Travels in 2018. For Ingeborg, the highlight of her role at Alakara Travels is the opportunity to connect with a diverse array of people, including clients, suppliers, partners, and colleagues.
William, who grew up in the Teso region of Northeastern Uganda, is the driving force behind the operations of Alakara Guest House and Okra Farm. His entrepreneurial spirit and extensive experience in starting and growing businesses in Uganda are invaluable as Alakara Travels aspires to become the premier tour operator in Northeastern Uganda.
