Our Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival in Entebbe

Your Ugandan adventure begins at Entebbe International Airport, where you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel. Take this opportunity to relax and unwind after your flight, enjoying the serene atmosphere and cool breeze from Lake Victoria.

Day 2 - Fly to Bwindi

In the morning, you’ll board the flight to Kihihi Airstrip, offering stunning views of the Ugandan landscape of lush green hills, sparkling lakes and rivers, vast swamps and rugged mountains. Upon arrival, a knowledgeable guide will drive you through lush landscapes and charming villages, providing insights into the local culture and history. After checking into your lodge, you can explore the village or the forest, or just relax and unwind as you prepare for the following day’s highlight.

Day 3 - Gorilla Tracking

Rise early and prepare for an unforgettable gorilla tracking adventure. Accompanied by experienced guides and trackers, you’ll hike through the dense forest in search of a habituated gorilla family. The trek may be challenging and muddy, but it is manageable for all reasonably fit and healthy travellers. Once you find the gorillas, you’ll spend one hour observing their behaviour in their natural habitat. After the trek, return to the lodge for a well-deserved massage, and enjoy the beautiful views of the forest from the lodge.

Day 4 - Travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, say goodbye to Bwindi and drive approximately three hours to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Check into your lodge and enjoy lunch before embarking on an exciting boat safari on the Kazinga Channel. This boat trip offers the chance to see elephants, hippos, and a variety of other wildlife.

Day 5 - Safari and Return to Entebbe

Begin your day with an early morning safari in an open vehicle, searching for lions, leopards, elephants, antelopes, and numerous other animals on the savannah plains. In the afternoon, catch a scenic flight back to Entebbe. Depending on your onward travel plans, you can either proceed directly to the international airport or spend another night in Entebbe before your departure.
